The Power of Vision
After seeing the video on vision, it became clear to see that having a vision will be the starting point of achieving the goals you want. For me personally some goals that I would like to accomplish would be getting a job in the near future, I would prefer to get a job as a bartender until I can get a better job in a Accounting firm. Another goal I would like to accomplish would be to complete the 5 year program and get my Master's in Accounting. My final personal goal would be coming back to school to get my Masters in Finance, although these goals are difficult to accomplish these are the plans in my vision for the future. I believe the first goal I would be able to put into effect would be getting a job as a bartender, although the its a very competitive field and easier for females to get the position, as long as I put action to this vision the possibilities will open up.

With the current job market the way it is, bartending may be a good idea for the immediate future. Usually good money and also a good means to network. Your school goals also seem on point and you can bartend and still concentrate on school. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteI actually used to have the exact same goals as you until I accomplished one and gave up the other. I have been bartending for about two years now and it has it's ups and downs. It's definitely easier for a female to get a job bartending and as for your accounting aspirations, I take my hat off to you. I gave up those dreams a long time ago. I decided to try and do something I really love rather than doing something that is secure and prestigious. I hope you can stick out the accounting because I sure couldn't.
